Brand Identity Design + Tagline Creation

Objective

Mai-Vy was in need of branding for her new clothing line. She wanted the brand to capture the essence of an endless summer and have a dreamy feeling. The brand consists of luxurious silky smooth pieces that become women's staples. She wanted the logo to be simple, yet elegant.

Solution

Mai Mai means "forever" in Vietnamese. We used that inspiration, along with the idea of an endless summer as the foundation for the logo concept. When the crossbars of the A’s in Mai Mai are overlapped they form the eternity symbol. We also used the eternity symbol for the brand’s tagline styling. We crafted the tagline, “Elevated Basics ~ Endless Style.” Finally, we kept the color palette simple and classic with black and white as the foundation, but added in a dreamy pink gradient reminiscent of a summer sunset.
