It's time to share a new logo! I recently had the pleasure of designing this one for The Butterfly Cake factory. This mother-in-law/daughter-in-law duo are based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They create absolutely gorgeous cakes!

Brittany, the daughter-in-law half of TBCF, came to me a little hesitant because she had hired two designers in the past and had less than satisfactory experiences. I completely understood where she was coming from.

It's so important to me to establish client trust up front and ensure that each client has complete confidence in working together from the very beginning.

I'm always happy to talk on the phone or answer as many questions as necessary to get to this point. I know that it's a big investment to make and I want each client to feel comfortable and ready to commit to the process.

Once we started the project, the process moved along quickly. The logo needed to be modern and feminine to attract newly engaged brides, yet still be elegant and classic to reflect the cakes they create. We were able to do this by using clean and simple icons, timeless typography, and a soft, romantic color palette.
